One of the more senior regulars at the Hayfield races suggested to me that it might be interesting to see the age-related records for the local races. So I have compiled the following tables which show the fastest times set in V40, 50, 60, 70 and V80 categories for those Hayfield races for which I have results.

It should be pointed out that these times are not necessarily the true records as I have only been able to search race times held on the Hayfield Fell Race web site. Nonetheless, I think it makes interesting viewing and I would be happy to amend if anyone has times from earlier races.
